Sunerchomai… ??

The word:
Sunerchomai ( συνέρχομαι ) , pronounced soon-er-khom-ahee, is a Koine Greek word meaning to come together, gather, assemble, go along with, or accompany.

The gathering:
On Sunday night, everyone is welcome to “gather together” (sunerchomai) to share a homemade meal and spend the evening together. Every week is different and unplanned. We may talk, pray, play a game, sing, watch a movie, discuss theology, or make S’mores in the fireplace or backyard.

The house:
The Sunerchomai House is intended to be a gathering place where people feel welcomed and accepted. In addition to those who live in the house, the household extends to many others.

The family:
The purpose of gathering together regularly is to get to know one another. As we get to know each other, we begin to do life together. Love and concern for one another are a natural response to life together.
